    Lake Michigan Water Temperature

These links will help you decide if you need a shorty, full wet suit, dry suit, or no suit! Note:  If it’s cloudy the sattelite water temperature is not always accuate.  Be sure to check some of the open water wind meters for real time water temperature readings.

    Lake Michigan Water Levels

Lake Michigan water levels have a great impact on water conditions near the shoreline.  Low water levels create more beach for launching and landing your kite and smaller waves around the jetty’s and piers.  The dashboard below from NOAA shows water levels over time for all the Great Lakes.
