Little Sable Point…again

Got up Saturday morning after a hard night and made it up to the point by 10 am.  Forecast was for about 10 to 15 knots all afternoon.  Watched a small storm roll through, played some frisbee and by noon it was good to go!!  Wind was light, but rideable.  I went on a solo upwinder (wind out of the South) because I always wanted to see around the corner to the south.  Well, after about 30 min of riding up wind as hard as I could, I probably made it 2/3 of the way.  I saw DP wasn’t kiting anymore and another kiter showed up at the beach so I had a nice downwinder back to the launch site.  Rode a little longer and took a break.  Now a lot more kiters were starting to show up and everyone was having a good time.  It’s hard not to love the warm water and sun and not have to wear much of a wetsuit if any at all.  After refueling on a sandwich from the deli at Wesco I went out again.  DP wasn’t staying upwind too well in the lighter wind conditions, so he decided to call it a day and take some video and pictures.  I swear Little Sable never disappoints 🙂
