Just wanted to give a quick look at the wind forecast for this weekend.
Water Temp: COLD! Upper 40’s to low 40’s from south to north along the lakeshore.
Today: Mostly SE wind and rain this afternoon and tonight. Not looking too good
Saturday: Forecast keeps improving depending on what model you look at. After the morning storms pass through, a south wind will build into the late afternoon. It looks like the further north you go, the stronger the wind. Most places should expect 15 to 20 knots, but possibly more around Frankfort.
Sunday: Light NE breeze all morning and then with sunny skies I’m expecting a NW thermal breeze to develop mid afternoon. Should be 15 to 20 knots for most of the lakeshore and potentially more from Muskegon to Grand Haven.
Monday: Looking like more east wind.
Hope you have a great long weekend!
