Memorial Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast 2017

Last Week:  Nailed It!  Friday, Saturday and Sunday were right on.  It wasn’t quite gusting to 25 on Sunday, but still enough wind for kiting.

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 2, Close – 1, Way Off – 1

Water Temp:  Not much change.  We are in the low 50’s for the southern half of the lake, and mid 40’s to the north.

Today: Light and variable wind

Saturday:  Light and variable wind

Sunday:  Late afternoon there will be a slight breeze from the west.  Maybe enough to use a foil board.

Memorial Day:  Looks like the best chance for some wind.  It should be around 15 to 20 knots out of the SW for the entire lakeshore.

Kiteboard or BBQ that is the question….

BOTH!!!

Brisket I smoked last year
