Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Aug 26th & 27th

Last Week:  Close.  No thermal developed on Saturday, but there was some wind to kite on Sunday at the points.  I managed a good sesh at Ludington state park with my 14.5 meter well powered.

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 7, Close – 9, Way Off – 1

Water Temp:  No change here. Low 70’s for the southern half of the lakeshore and upper 60’s for the northern half.

Today:  Looks like light and variable wind today.

Saturday:  Could be some wind at the points (LSP, BSP, & PB) with the southerly flow and full sun.  I’m not sure of the beach situation at LSP and PB though.  It might be pretty tight and with any beach goers makes it that much more hazardous.  Wind could be in the 15 to 20 knot range.

Sunday:  Wind looks like it is going to be out of the SE and side offshore for the Michigan coastline.  Bummer.

Jeff got some great pics from a fun session we had this week.  Post Here
