Last Week: Nailed it. Friday and Saturday were 12m days at LSP and Betsie. I was at Betsie and I heard LSP was good early in the day. On Sunday, I went to LSP and it was 8m wind for me, didn’t hear how Betsie was, but it should’ve been at least as good as Saturday.
Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 5, Close – 9, Way Off – 1
Friday: No kiteable wind
Saturday: A light south wind in the morning should make LSP rideable till noon and Betsie rideable most of the day. Not much more saturday.
Sunday: Looking even less likely then Saturday. Variable winds, not enough south flow to generate at the points.
Water has really warmed up the last week, so wetsuits are no longer needed. Hopefully I don’t “nail” this forecast and the points turn on like they should on a hot sunny weekend in July.
