Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast July 7th & 8th

[embedit snippet=”autoad”]

Last Weekend:  Three days of warm wind and water!  It didn’t get quite as windy as I thought it would, but there was enough for some solid sessions up and down the lakeshore all three days.

Water Temp:  Mid 70’s to upper 60’s from south to north along the lakeshore.  It’s been a few years at least since I can remember the water being this warm so early in July already.  If the north wind doesn’t cool it down too much today it is just going to keep getting warmer over the next week.

Today:  There is a north wind that should turn NNW this afternoon and blow 15 to 20 knots from Manistee to Grand Haven.

Saturday:  Light wind for the most of the lakeshore.  The Frankfort to PB area should get around 15 knots late in the day out of the south.

Sunday:  Looking like just some south wind for the Frankfort to PB area again.  A little more though.  Potentially 15 to 20 knots.
