Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast June 4th and 5th

Last Week – Nailed It!:  What a great weekend.  Plenty of wind if you went after it along the lakeshore Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 3, Close – 6, Way Off – 0

Water Temp:  Low 60’s for most of the lakeshore with some high 50’s to the north.

Today:  Calm for the rest of the afternoon.  Just a light breeze out of the west.  Not more than 5 to 10 knots.

Saturday:  Another really light wind day with wind out of the SE, so it will even be offshore for the lakeshore.

Sunday: After a chance of some rain in the morning it looks like we should get some wind out of the WNW in the afternoon.  Right now it’s looking like 15 to 20 knots for most of the lakeshore.  I think it could pick up a little more than that depending on how much sun we have during the afternoon.

Last Sunday I was able to kiteboard at Ludington Stearns Park where it was a 20 knot SSW wind.  There was plenty of sunshine and a bonus of turquoise colored water.  Here are a few pictures from the session.
