Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast June 6th and 7th

Last Week: Close – Pretty much right on for Saturday with the wind, locations and direction, but the rain hung around longer than I thought it would.  Sunday is the day I was off.  For the northern half of the lakeshore a really nice north wind developed Sunday afternoon with sunny skies.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 4, Close –4 Way Off – 0

Today:  A north to NNW wind is going to continue to build the rest of the afternoon.  Should be good for most of the lakeshore getting up to 15 to 20 knots.

Saturday:  Looking pretty light and generally out of the east.  I will be watching for a potential NW thermal to develop, but I’m not counting on it.  If it does, it would be good from Muskegon to Grand Haven.

Sunday:  There should be a south wind in the afternoon around 20 knots for the entire lakeshore.  Just have to watch for rain and possible storms.  Should be a little stronger at Little Sable Pt and Pt Betsie.
