Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast May 13th & 14th

Last Week:  Nailed It!  Boom! Lots of NNW wind last weekend all up and down the lakeshore.  Hopefully you got some.

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 2, Close – 0, Way Off – 0

Water Temp:  Made a little progress here with water temps in the southern half of the lake warming to the upper 40’s.  Still pretty cold.

Today:  A light NW thermal will develop this afternoon.  It will be 10 to 15 knots from Ludington to Holland.  I don’t know about you, but with water temps this cold still, might be a tough sell.

Saturday:  Light and variable winds.

Sunday:  Lucky for mom’s, no wind again.

Should be a great weekend minus not much wind.  Hopefully last weekend is enough to hold us over for awhile.

Can you guess this beach/kiteboarding spot?  These pictures were taken last Sunday morning.
