Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Nov 2nd and 3rd

Last Week: Close.  Friday was good in the late afteroon and saturday was rocking!  See the “Ride to Survive” post.  Sunday was what kept me from nailing it, as it was a good SW wind in the afternoon.  Sunday was a good miss.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 12, Close – 18, Way Off – 2

Friday:  Got a late start on this today.  Too late to forecast for today.

Saturday:  I would say best chance for Saturday would be Manistee.  There should be a 15 to 20 knot North wind off lake Michigan in Manistee for the afternoon.  First St beach would be the spot there.  Further south it doesn’t look like its going to fill in quite enough for a good rideable session.  Just borderline.  Definitely worth watching the meters to see if it picks up more though.  South of Holland around South Haven to St Joe, it should fill in though.

Sunday: Looking light and SE.  Not very good

There will be some rain on Saturday.  Had some big winds this past week, with more on the way.  Good time of year 🙂

Great view from the road here overlooking Lake MI. Too bad there isn’t access to kite behind those rockwalls…..
