Last Week: Close.  Saturday was more N or NNE and was too cold for riding.  Although I do know someone who went out, but I’m not sure they would go out again in those conditions.  Sunday was a lot lighter than I expected.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 14, Close – 20, Way Off – 2

Friday:  Today the winds are going to be light and variable.

Saturday:  Should be a pretty good

S to SW wind in the 20 to 25 knot range.  The water is in low 40’s and the air temp is going to be in the low to mid 30’s.  Wind chill should be in low 30’s as well.  Most of the lakeshore should be rideable as the wind goes more SW.  Cloud cover is going to be thicker north of Ludington with some possible snow.

Sunday: Light and variable winds.

Temperatures have really dropped over the last week and there is quite a bit of snow in spots.  I’m hoping to get one more session on the water, maybe tomorrow, but it’s looking like this could end up being a pretty good snowkiting winter with the start we have and the longer range forecasts looking cold too.
