Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Nov. 8th and 9th

Last Week:  Nailed it!  Obviously Friday was insane.  Saturday was light and Sunday turned out to be great.  Sunny, windy, nice waves.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 13, Close –16, Way Off – 0

Today: Wind is light this afternoon.  Not enough to kiteboard.

Saturday:  The wind is going to pick up in the morning out of the SW and continue to blow all day while switching from SW to W and then finally to NW.  It should be in the 25 knot range and possibly gusting into the 30’s.  Its going to be raining some early in the day and cloudy and  cold all day.

Sunday:  The wind is going to switch around to the South in the early morning and pick up in the afternoon into the 20 knot range.  There should be more sun and a little warmer than Satruday.  Wind should blow from late morning and through the afternoon.

It’s definitely starting to get cold out and the water is dropping in temperature too.  I don’t even want to talk about the forecast next week.  It is time to suit up all your warmest gear though for this weekend.

Water levels are still rising on lake MI, but at least these big north wind days are causing some beach errosion
