Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Nov 9th and 10th

Last Week: Nailed it.  Not a good weekend last weekend.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 13, Close – 18, Way Off – 2

Friday:  Light winds this afternoon out of the south.  Building into this evening, but won’t be enough to ride until after dark.

Saturday:  Another BIG SATURDAY this fall!  Its gonna be blowing 35 knots + out of the south at daybreak and continue in the low 30’s for the rest of the day.  The wind is going to shift as the day goes on from S at dawnpatrol 🙂 to SW by noon and WNW by evening.  I’d say get out early or at at least before it goes full onshore for your beach.  Holland St Pk, N Shore GH, N Mkg St pk, Honeyhole, and Frankfort should be good early.  Late morning and early afternoon, try Pentwater Charles Mears St Pk, Ludington Sterns Park, and Manistee 5th ave beach for side to side on conditions.

Sunday: If you still have some left in the tank or couldn’t get out Saturday, Sunday morning should be a good NW from 20 to 30 knots.  Then it’s going to calm down in the afternoon.  Hopefully after blowing NW all night the waves will have reorganized from South on saturday to North on Sunday.

Little bit of rain might be around Saturday early and Sunday should be sunny.  It’s gonna be a great weekend!
