Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Oct 11th and 12th

Last Week:  Nailed it!  I would only say that Sunday was gusting into the mid 20’s most of the day where I said it would only be around 20.  Anyways it was a great weekend.  Got a crazy session in on Friday with winds over 30 knots and did an amazing downwinder on Sunday.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 11, Close –14 , Way Off – 0

Today:  I will be on a thermal watch this afternoon.  It could pick up out of the NNW from Muskegon to Holland into the mid teens.

Saturday:  Again it looks like a NNW thermal wind could be in store for the afternoon.  This will blow from Muskegon to Holland in the 20 knot range under sunny skies.  Elsewhere on the lakeshore looks light.

Sunday: The wind is going to be too SE to ride  along the lower half of the lakeshore.  Further north at Frankfort to Pt Betsie it should be more south and windy enough in the 15 to 20 knot range to ride.

Fall is starting to shape up.  Hopefully Saturday afternoon comes through and we get a couple more weekends like last.  Water still isn’t too bad in the 50’s.
