Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Oct 13th & 14th

[embedit snippet=”autoad”]

Last Weekend:  There wasn’t much wind last weekend and it was more of a washout.

Water Temp:  Still in the upper 50’s.  Not bad for mid October.

Today:  The WNW continues and even builds this afternoon.  Winds should be in the 20 knot range.

Saturday:  The west wind will drop into the teens in the morning and then in the afternoon the wind will go SW and ramp up!  The northern half of the lakeshore should see 25 to 30 knots by early evening.  The southern half will be in the low 20’s.

Sunday:  SW wind in the 15 to 20 knot range until midday when it will go back to WNW in the mid teens range.

We are definitely in a windy weather pattern right now.  After this weekend, next week looks promising most days as well.  Giddy Up!

Got a wild session in last night with onshore conditions.  Thanks to Jeff for coming down afterwork and snapping some pictures.  Follow us on Instagram to see more photos more often @midawnpatrol
