Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Oct 15 and 16th

Last Week – Nailed It!:  Friday was good and Saturday was off the hook!

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 11, Close – 14, Way Off – 0

Water Temp:  Low 60’s to upper 50’s from south to north

Today: The wind is going to continue to build throughout the afternoon out of the South.  Muskegon should be 15 knots at least and the further North you go, the windier it will get.  The points could be around 25 knots.

Saturday:  Oooooeeeee!  The south wind will continue and even pick up some strength.  Looks like 20 knots from Holland to Muskegon and 25 to 30 knots at the points.  The points being LSP, BSP and Pt Betsie.  After blowing from the south all night, the waves should be pretty good too.  Waves could be up to 8 feet for the northern half of the lakeshore.

Sunday:  The south wind finally dies off, rain moves in and the wind becomes light and variable.
