Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Oct 28th & 29th

Last Week:  Nailed It!  Blew all weekend long out of the south until the rain moved in on Sunday afternoon.

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 13, Close – 12, Way Off – 1

Water Temp:  Another drop in water temperature.  We are in the mid to upper 50’s now for the lakeshore.

Today:  Wind is out of the WSW for the rest of the afternoon.  The lower half of the lakeshore should be around 20 to 25 knots through the rest of the afternoon and the northern half of the lakeshore should be 15 to 20 knots.

Saturday:  More west and SW wind for the day, but also more chance for rain and it looks more up and down over the course of the day.  Probably should be able to get a session in at some point.

Sunday:  Light west wind for the majority of the day

Last weekend Jeff and I took what is turning into an annual event, our fall kitesurfing trip.  We watched the forecast for the week leading up to the weekend and settled on Frankfort, MI as having the best chance for kiting.  More details of the trip to come, but here are some pictures:
