Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Oct 29th and 30th

Last Week – Close!:  Last Friday we had some wind out of the NW.  Saturday was calm, but Sunday picked up out of the S a little more than I thought it would.  Enough for some light wind riding in the early afternoon.

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 12, Close – 15, Way Off – 0

Water Temp:  Low to mid 50’s

Today: The wind is going to really pick up out of the south for this afternoon.  The entire lakeshore should be windy with 20 to 25 knots from Holland to Muskegon and 25 to 30 knots north of Muskegon and 30 plus at Frankfort.  It will even continue to build into the evening and after dark.

Saturday:  The south wind continues in the early morning but more WSW.  It will gradually die off over the course of the morning and be light for the remainder of the day.

Sunday:  Light NE winds, won’t be enough for kiteboarding along the lakeshore.

Today looks to be the day to ride!  It should be somewhat warm with sun too.  Hopefully everyone can get out!.

Some more pictures from Frankfort two weeks ago.
