Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Oct 8th and 9th

Weeks Ago – Nailed It:  Lots of NE wind last weekend and then a calm Sunday.

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 10, Close – 14, Way Off – 0

Water Temp:  We are down into the low 60’s now everywhere, but there could be pockets of colder water in places.  Check before heading out.

Today: After blowing from the south all morning a cold front is moving through and the wind is going to shift NW for the rest of the afternoon.  Wind should be in the 20 to 25 knot range.  Waves might be pretty gnarly due to the quick shift of S wind to NW wind.

Saturday:  The NW wind will continue into mid afternoon at around 20 knots.  After blowing all night, the waves should be cleaned up and nice for the day.

Sunday:  Light and variable winds

Should be pretty good today and tomorrow.  At least we don’t have a hurricane to deal with!
