Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Sept 28th & 29th

Last Week: Close.  Got it right Friday and Saturday for the most part, but the thermal never developed on Sunday.  Stayed too cloudy.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 11, Close – 14, Way Off – 2

Friday:  Wind is going to stay SE all day.  Too offshore for riding.

Saturday:  Wind is going to start out SSE in the morning but by early afternoon should come around S and build.  It should be 15 to 20 knots from Holland to Whitehall and 25 + at Little Sable Point.  Holland St Pk, Grand Haven city beach, GH N Shore, N Mkg St Pk, Medberry Pk and LSP.  Further north Ludington St Pk and Frankfort to Pt Betsie should be 20 + knots too.

Sunday: Wind is going to be light and out of the NW all day but it should be enough, 15 knots or so in the afternoon under sunny skies to ride from Mkg south to Holland.  Mkg Pere Marquatte and GH st pk would be good spots.

Should be a nice weekend.  Some rain is supposed to pass through Saturday night.  Hopefully it doesn’t show up early.  Also, check out our homepage with our new Lake Michigan webcam shots and go to  www.manisteesurfcam.com to check out the live feed!
