Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Sept 9th & 10th

Last Week:  Close.  Last Sunday didn’t pick up enough, but Labor day was great with 20+ knot winds all morning and early afternoon.

Tally So Far:  Nailed It – 7, Close – 11, Way Off – 1

Water Temp:  Break out the wetsuit if you haven’t already.  Water  temps are back down to the low 60’s and upper 50’s.

Today:  Looks like our only chance for wind is this afternoon and it might be a stretch.  A light NW thermal should develop mid afternoon from Manistee to Muskegon and Grand Haven.  Right now it looks like 10 to 15 knots.

Saturday:  Light east wind.

Sunday:  Light and variable winds.

Even though there won’t be much wind this weekend, the weather is looking really nice.  Sunny and 70, I will take that any day.

Snapped some post sesh pics this past Tuesday below.  I got rained on pretty good, but after it cleared out it made for some cool pics.  Pictured below are Brian, Jake and a couple other guys I didn’t know.
