Last week: Close. Friday turned out to be the best day of the weekend. Perfect NW thermal formed with steady winds at 25 knots for most of the afternoon and into the evening. Saturday was a bust due to the wind staying SE all day and Sunday was too light with cloud cover.
Tally so far: Nailed It! – 1, Close – 2, Way Off – 0
Friday: Friday is gonna be light with cold and snow.
Saturday: Saturday should have a strong west wind gusting into the low 20’s. It’s gonna be cold and cloudy with a chance of snow though. Will be a hardy sesh if you decide to go out.
Sunday: Looks like a light SE wind with a bit of a warm up. Rain later in the evening. Probably a no go.
Not too much optimism this weekend. However, the good news is that all this rain and cold should ultimately be a good thing for Lake Michigan and water levels. Below is a picture I took from last weekend, if you forgot what the sun looks like.
