Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast 4th of July Edition

Last Week:  Close. Saturday was good at LSP and Sunday was even windier than I thought.  Wind was good even from Holland to Port Sheldon to Muskegon and up to LSP and Pt Betsie.  So I missed in a good way.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 4, Close –7 , Way Off – 0

4th of July: Calm and variable winds.  Most beaches will be too crowded to ride anyways.

Saturday:  A strong southerly push is beginning saturday.  There should be enough wind to ride from Muskegon north to LSP and Ludington State Park and Frankfort and Pt Betsie.  LSP and Pt Betsie will be rocking well into the 20 to 25 knot range.

Sunday: The strong southerly push continues today but even windier!  Should be good from Holland north, with the points blasting 25 to 30 knots.  A chance of storms in the afternoon to watch for however.

Looking like a great weekend to ride.   Use caution around beach goers to ensure our access remains.  I’ll comment if the forecast changes.  Have a great weekend and check out our new beach cam in muskegon!
