Last Week – Close: Saturday the wind was pretty much due S instead of SE and it did pick up to 15 knots for a little while in the early afternoon. Sunday was pretty much right one but was more often 15 knots than 20 knots. It was tough because there was some decent waves and current washing onshore and with only 15 knots of wind directly onshore, going upwind was really tough.

Water Temp: Looks like the water turned over this week and we are now down into the 50’s for most of the lakeshore.
Today: This afternoon there should be some thermal enhanced wind out of the South from somewhere north of Whitehall up to LSP. Probably around 15 to 20 knots until early evening.
Saturday: In the morning there will be wind around 15 knots out of the SW from Holland up to Muskegon. The big thing here is that it is the same time a line of thunderstorms are supposed to pass through. So definitely need to keep and eye on that.
Sunday: The wind will rotate to the north overnight and pick up. There should be 15 to 20 knots out of the North at dawn for Manistee. This will come down over the course of the morning though. Then later I think there will be a chance for some thermal enhancement in the afternoon with sunny skies. I think some places like Manistee, Muskegon and Grand Haven could have 20 knots of NNW during the afternoon.
Earlier this week DP got a evening session in at Grand Haven City Beach. It was around 20 knots out of the NW with some rain to the north. Just enough for him to take out the 12m Razor. Here are a few pictures.
