Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast May 10th and 11th

Last Week:  Nailed it.  Unfortunately nothing developed Friday or Saturday.  Sunday morning was a great session however.  See Pics  The early you were there, the better.  It was a little gusty and the waves were choppy, but the sun was out and the wind was cranking for awhile.  Can’t complain

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 1, Close – 2, Way Off – 0

Today:  Once the rain moves through I think there will be enough leftover wind to get out for a couple hours.  The wind is out of the south and should steady up and blow in the 15 to 20 knot range.  Should be from Holland to Meinart and up to Pt Betsie.

Saturday:  Looks like there should be some SW wind from Little Sable Point and north in the afternoon under sunny skies.  Should be in the 15 to 20 knot range with a little more at Point Betsie.  Little Sable Point, Pentwater, Mears Park Ludington, and Pt Betsie will be the best spots.

Sunday:  There will be a little south wind, but cloud cover will keep it from building up to a rideable level along the lakeshore.
