Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Oct 25th and 26th

Last Week:  Close.  It was an awesome weekend, maybe the best we’ve had all year for kiteboarding.  Friday delivered, NNW and Saturday delivered but it was all North.  Sunday even got cranking later in the day.  8m wind for me all  3 days.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 11, Close –16, Way Off – 0

Today:  Wind looks light today out of the SW and West.  Not enough to kiteboard.

Saturday:  Our best chance looks to be late morning and afternoon.  A WNW wind is forecast to pick up in the 15 to 20 knot range.  Should be pretty much the entire shoreline from Holland to Pt Betsie. Muskegon Pere Marquette beach and Grand Haven St Park would be good spots, although just about anywhere will work.

Sunday:  The WNW wind will be dying down througout the night and it will be calm during the day.  Not enough for kiteboarding, but there could be some leftover waves to ride.

The weekend is looking like it’s going to be a nice one.  Air temps in the upper 50’s and 60’s with lots of sun.
