Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Sept 22nd & 23rd

Last Weekend:  Light wind last weekend.

Water Temp:  Looks like the water is in the 60’s for the lakeshore.  Could be low or could be upper 60’s and south to north doesn’t matter.

Today:  Boom shacka lacka!  Wind is out of the SW and will rotate to west and then NW as the day goes on.  Depending on location the wind should maintain upper 20 knots to low 30 knots with gusts over 35 knots.  The entire lakeshore should be in play.  However it will be interesting how bad of a washing machine the lake turns into as the the wind shifts NW.  Might be best to get out before then.

Saturday:  Light offshore winds.

Sunday:  Light and variable.

Well at least we are getting one windy day this weekend!  Temps are going to fall tonight too as the wind shifts north and it will feel like fall.  Is kiteboarding season finally here?
