Weekend Kiteboarding Forecast Sept 6th and 7th

Last Week:  Close.  I was 2 out of 4.  Friday there was a brief period where the wind was good and south.  Then it went SE and light.  So, a lot of people were skunked.  Saturday was a great day all up and down the coast.  Good wind, warm water and sun.  Sunday was a rest day and Monday was a little bit of a let down.  The wind was all storm driven.  Once the storms passed, the wind died.  It did leave some nice waves to try surfing a little.  Check out the pictures below.

Tally So Far: Nailed It! – 8, Close –12 , Way Off – 0

Today: This afternoon there should be NW wind, but a little on the light side at 10 to 15 knots.  Maybe a light wind session.

Saturday:  I think a NW thermal could develop in the afternoon.  About 15 to 20 knots from Muskegon to Grand Haven.  Also, further north up by Pt Betsie there should be a decent West wind at 15 to 20 knots later in the afternoon.

Sunday: Looking like light and variable winds.

Water is still pretty warm, should be a great weekend.  Enjoy!
